Fluoropolymer Spray Coatings

Fluoropolymer Spray Coatings

Slippery Business

Background

Fluoropolymer coatings are gaining significant use in both consumer and industrial markets, driven by it many beneficial properties:

  • Chemically inert
  • Non-stick
  • High Temperature
  • Dielectric
  • Excellent lubricity
  • Hydrophobic/Non-wetting

These coatings can be applied in powder form, spray applied, or dip-applied.  Specialty Finishes focuses on spray-applied fluoropolymer coatings, which provides excellent thickness uniformity.

Specialty Finishes also offers a ceramic-filled FEP/PTFE blended coating system which has phenomenol adoption in the packaging and heat-sealing industry, where packaging film release, in combination with enhanced wear resistance of the ceramic fill, improve machine uptime and tool life.

Specialty Finishes Offerings

Below you will find Specialty Finishes’ lineup of fluoropolymer coatings.  They exhibit excellent adhesion, durability, heat resistance and non-stick qualities, making this coating a good choice in variety of situations where dry lubrication and release in an abrasive or high-temperature environment are needed.
